Hannah Bauman is an editor and writing coach who specializes in fantasy, science fiction, and romance. Indexing: She creates back-of-book indexes for non-fiction work. If you are publishing a nonfiction book, then an index plays a vital role in helping your reader access your book. Did you know that not having an index has been shown to reduce sales? An index will give potential readers an idea of what is included in the book and help readers find specific information too. It's more than a collection of keywords — it organizes concepts as well as important terms in a way that helps your reader find what they are looking for.
Editing: She edits both fiction and non-fiction works on a wide variety of topics. As an editor, Susan's commitment is to make sure the author's message and voice shine through and also correct any errors.

Through the 8-week virtual program, students are led through the process of brainstorming, drafting, peer editing, revising and illustrating their own children’s book. Following the program, Lemon House Publishing will publish each student’s book on Amazon with profits going to a local Boston, MA charity.

Jo is an illustrator working primarily in the not-for-profit and creative industries. She specializes particularly on imagery for the women's sector and other sensitive social issues. Her work is predominantly digital, creating varied imagery for narrative projects and also information based creative collateral like Instagram posts and web graphics.

Jo has worked for publishers, charities, theatre companies, events organizations, artists, and writers. I enjoy using imagery to tell stories and inform using flowing lines and bold color.
